As part of our literacy lessons on explanations we’ve been looking at some cracking inventions courtesy of Wallace and Gromit.  Which one is your favourite?  Why?

Football Tournament

Well done to the football team for coming third in the primary schools tournament.  Big well done also to their attitudes, Mr Minns said they were fantastic! (Even if the rain did soak through every item of clothing!)

Jesse Tree

At the end of last term, Year 6 did a fab job at reviewing the whole of the Jesse Tree (with a little help from the people up at Castlerigg).  As Mr Waywell told the story, each member played the part of someone in the Bible.  Comments were poitive from everyone on how it really brought the story to life.  Well done guys!

Santa Dash

Posted by Mr Waywell on Jan-9-2012

On Tuesday 13th December, Year 6 held their annual Santa Dash.  After building up our cross country skills over the past 7 weeks it was now time to embrace the cold and mud and try and beat our records (with the addition of a santa hat!)

After running for as long as we could, for many of us falling over and all of us seriously covered in mud;  we headed off inside for a well deserved hot chocolate and a biscuit.  Mr Waywell then wased our clothes for us!
