As spys it is important to be able to notice things that are happenining around you. Who knows when you will have to visit somewhere again or describe what you saw?
As part of our training, todays task was to try and identify some photgraphs around school. These were made harder as they were extreme close ups, so recruits had to look at everything in detail to find the hidden clues!
Watch this space for photographs! Our blog is too full so we need to upgrade!
Here’s another famous spy … Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible. He’s a master of disguises with some cool gadgets and even cooler moves. (And he also gave us the music for our own class secret missions!)
Every spy knows that agility is important. They must be able to creep around silently, move in and out of small places and be constantly be aware of what is happening around them. As part of our spy training,Year 6 had to master these maneuvers in PE. With the help of Agent Linton’s expert advice they managed to achieve their goal and could move with great stealth!
Science is generally a messy affair in Year 6 and today was no different. As part of our topic we had to see what would happen if we mixed bicarbonate of soda or washing powder with water, vinegar and lime juice. We found out that some of these cause a bit of a chemical reaction. After wondering what would happen on a larger scale we went outside. Here Mr Waywell tried with much more of everything.
The result ……. everyone was covered in vinegar and stunk for the rest of the afternoon! Nice!
Check out some of these action shots! Aerobics has hit year 6 (courtesy of Miss Linton!) Each week the class has a 30 minute workout. It is full of energy and needs lots of effort! Big well done to everyone who keeps on giving it their all!
