The police came to visit us as part of our inspirational afternoons.
First of all we were given a presentation that taught us all about the role of a police officer and what lessons you have to try hard at in order to be one.
Outside we were then given the opportunity to go inside a police van, sound the sirens and try on some of the uniforms…even the riot shields! Fun was definitely had by all!

Blackpool 6th Form College came to visit Year 6 as part of our inspirational afternoons.
They brought with them 4 different workshops so that we could have a go and some different activities. The first was construction where we had to try and build the tallest tower in groups. The second was a mechanic task where we had to label the parts of a car. Inside was a health and beauty task where we learnt hand massage and a little bit of nail and hair styling. Then the final task was a quiz about the different types of careers that people can do.
Overall it was a fun and interesting afternoon. Thanks everyone from the college!

The Summer Fair was a fun afternoon at school. There were plenty of stalls to entertain everyone, many run by Year 6 pupils!
In the infants some poor teacher was custard pied quite a bit (especially by some of his own class!)
