Library Visit
Posted by Mr Waywell on Nov-15-2015
Our next Victorian Blackpool trip was to the library in town.
Here Year 6 had to use their research skills to find answers and make historical observations. We were helped along the way by Tony Sharkey as we found out new facts about Victorian Blackpool. There was a range of evidence which included:
- Census Records
- Victorian newspaper clippings
- Victorian photographs
- Victorian school books
- School registers
We left the venue with more facts to add to our ever-growing list and better research skills than we had when we arrived.
